The people behind Stingray Sushi, a restaurant in Phoenix Arizona, should be commended for raising money for the Phoenix Fire Fighters Association by giving them proceeds from a menu item. What they maybe shouldn't be commended for: giving them proceeds from a 9-11 Remembrance Roll. New York restaurants probably know better than to put September 11th-themed rolls, shakes, burgers, mai tais, and whatnot on their menus, but tipsters say it's not the case in the rest of the country.
What 9/11 means to the sushi chef here? Spicy crab, avocado, and asparagus topped with tuna and whitefish. See also, September 11 wine.
