Barzinho, X.O. Cafe, P&G, and More Shutter

1) Tribeca: The Tribeca Citizen notes that Barzinho, a year and a half old Brazilian restaurant at 225 West Broadway, has closed. The space was seized by the city marshal earlier this week. [Tribeca Citizen]

2) Williamsburg: Readers also write in to say that Trattoria 312, a relatively new red sauce joint across the street from the recently shuttered Motorino, is also closed. Calls to the restaurant have gone unanswered all week. [ShutterWire]

3) Greenwich Village: Zagat reports that Greenwich Village Ethiopian spot Meskerem is closed. A staff member at another location says the shutter is just temporary. [Zagat]

4) Chinatown: A reader writes in to note that X.O. Cafe at 96 Walker Street in Chinatown is closed and in the process of getting gutted. There is no answer at the restaurant. [ShutterWire]

5) Upper West Side: Jeremiah Moss reports that P&G Cafe is closing on August 16, for good this time. The restaurant closed back in May for a restructuring of sorts and reopened in June, but this is the final shuttering. [JVNY]
