Maison Ladurée Will Open First NYC Location on August 22

Mark those calendars. LX World reports that famed Parisian macaron shop Maison Ladurée will open at 864 Madison Avenue on August 22. The tipline has been bombarded with questions about the drop date ever since news broke that the lauded shop was finally crossing the Atlantic. So 18 days ladies.

The Madison Avenue outpost will include two distinct rooms—one for sales and one for order taking and sitting and conversing on "antique chairs upholstered in 19th century fabrics"—and will boast an adjacent tea room. It will be outfitted "in the style of a private French home."
