Address Revealed for Ippudo Midtown, Opening in February

Crain's report that the previously announced Midtown location of ramen joint Ippudo will open this February at 321 West 51st Street between 8th and 9th Avenues in the old Rene Pujol space. Says one of the brokers, "They will do very well with tourists by being in the Theater District. They will be embracing the national audience." Yeah, no kidding. Even two years after opening in the East Village, the original New York Ippudo still garners consistent two hour-long waits.

It will be a 5,000 square foot space with a 1,000 square foot mezzanine.
