East Village coffee shop The Bean is on an expansion tear. Just yesterday their new shop on Broadway and 12th opened to the public, there's already been signs of a new spot on 2nd Avenue and East Third, and now EV Grieve spots signage for yet another new cafe on 1st Avenue and 9th Street—four stores all within five to ten minutes of one another.
