Michael Laiskonis Drives/Tweets From Miami to NYC

It may be business as usual for most New York City restaurants and bars, which were largely unaffected after this weekend's hurricane, but not all restaurant industry veterans are having an easy time of returning to the city. Le Bernardin pastry chef Michael Laiskonis, who took a jaunt to Colombia during his restaurant's renovations, was stuck in Miami last night trying to get back to NYC. So instead of hunkering down for a wait, he's making the 22 hour drive back—and tweeting all the way up I-95. Have any recs along the route? He's about halfway done and can be found here.
