The Ultimate Hurricane Irene Dining Guide

Many restaurants are closed because of Hurricane Irene, but a few are still open. Here's a guide to where to eat this weekend in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens.

Saturday 08/27:
Paulie Gee's: Open for dinner tonight, closed tomorrow.
Northern Spy Food Co.: Open for brunch today, closed the rest of the weekend.
Schiller's: Open for brunch until 4 PM, closed the rest of the weekend.
Diner: Open for brunch today, hopefully dinner tonight.
Tuffet: Open all day today.
Seersucker: Open for brunch today, closed the rest of the weekend.
Rye: Open for brunch today and possibly dinner if they have enough staff. Closed for brunch and hopefully open for dinner tomorrow.
Commerce: Open tonight, throwing a "Hurricane Party."
Palo Santo: Open for brunch and dinner this weekend.
The Smile: Open for brunch today.
wd~50: Open from 6:30 -10.30 PM tonight.
Red Rooster: Open for brunch and dinner with a limited menu at the bar today, closed for brunch tomorrow, probably no dinner service.
M. Wells: Brunch today and tomorrow, a special farewell dinner (reservations only) tonight.
Roberta's: Open all day today.
Jo's: Open tonight, "until the power goes out." Happy hour 'til 8 PM.
Ellabess: Open all weekend.

Vandaag: Open today with a limited staff, closed Sunday.

The Hurricane Club: Open tonight and tomorrow night with a special "Dinner with Irene" deal.
ilili: Open for dinner tonight and hopefully all day tomorrow.
Sojourn: Open for dinner tonight.
Vapiano: Open for dinner tonight and hopefully all day tomorrow.
Waverly Inn: Open from 5 - 8 PM tonight.
Lyon: Open tonight for dinner, and from 12 - 9 PM tomorrow.
Spain Restaurant: Open tonight and tomorrow night.
Bao Noodles: Open 'til about 7 PM tonight. They hope to open around 5 PM tomorrow.
The Sunburnt Calf: Open tonight, they should be open around midday tomorrow.
Osteria Cotta: Currently open for dinner, but that might change; call ahead.
Bocca: Open tonight, closed tomorrow.

Sunday 08/28:
Public: Opening tonight at 6PM.
Joe Waverly Place: Open today, may close this afternoon.
Casimir: Open for brunch and dinner.
The Spotted Pig: Open with a "hurricane menu."
The Breslin: Open for brunch, will stay open for dinner.
Crif Dogs East Village: Opening around 2 or 2:30 today.
Gramercy Tavern: Opening tonight at 5:30 PM.
Katz's Delicatessen: Now open.
Upright Coffee: Now open.
Mud Coffee: Now open, with a ridiculous line.
Fatty Crab West Village: Opening tonight at 5:30 PM.
Gemma: Open for brunch (wait at 1PM was an hour and a half), and dinner tonight.
Luke's Lobster: All locations will (except for the FiDi) will open at 5 PM tonight.
Lyon: Open for lunch and dinner ('til 9 PM).
Sunburnt Cow: Open for brunch until 5 PM, closed tonight.
Supper: Open for brunch and dinner.
Jo's: Opening tonight at 5 PM for dinner.

Corner Bistro: Open for lunch, they're not sure about dinner.
Southern Hospitality: The Hell's Kitchen location is opening at 5 PM and the Upper East Side location is opening at 2 PM.
Queens Comfort: Open 'til about 4 PM.
Cafe Habana: Open all day.
BR GUEST: Most of the BR Guest restaurants are opening today at 4 PM, including: Isabella's, Ocean Gill, Atlantic Grill East, Blue Water Grill, Dos Caminos Meatpacking, Bill's Bar & Burger Meatpacking, Bill's Bar & Burger Rock Center, Blue Fin (already open), and Wildwood Barbecue. They are all offering $10 Hurricanes (first one's free if your name is Irene), and $1.50 Hurricane Harbor oysters (where available).

Extra Virgin: Open with limited brunch menu (and limited staff); full dinner service tonight.
Imperial No. 9: Open for lunch and dinner.
