Greenwood Park Set To Bring Beer Garden Fun To South Slope

New, 7 comments

Big beer garden news, as veteran bar owner (and Ted Nugent's long lost son) Ted Mann shares more details with the Park Slope Patch about Greenwood Park, his new beer garden that is being built in a former car wash and repair shop the South Slope. Mann explains that while the 13,000 square foot size is comparable to other beer gardens, he and his partners are going more for a Gowanus Yacht Club vibe than Studio Square, and says that Greenwood Park menu will be geared towards a really great picnic instead of Bavarian favorites. Think burgers and dogs to go along with the planned 40 draught beers that will be available. Other crucial details: the space will have a wood burning fire pit outdoors, a stage for occasional live music, and be extremely stroller friendly, something that is certain to make the Park Slope mommy brigade very happy. Greenwood Park is scheduled to open in October.
