Atera (née Compose) is Looking for a Dedicated Herb Chef

New, 1 comment

Are all the in-house forager jobs around town filled? How about becoming an herb chef? Small tasting menu only Tribeca restaurant Compose closed in July shortly after they lost their young chef Nick Curtain. They are reopening with a new name, Atera, a new chef, Portland's lauded Matthew Lightner, a new "herb focused" menu, and an herb chef. Tribeca Citizen points to the following listing:

Position will require detailed knowledge of all culinary herbs. Responsibilities include market shopping, managing and harvesting several herb gardens on site, picking and prepping herbs for service. The cuisine is very herb focused—the position will be of central importance for the dining experience.
Herbs, so trendy.
