The September issue of Vanity Fair (not online yet) has some new details on the dining room renovations at Le Bernardin. Ripert and Co. commissioned Bentel & Bentel (who worked on the Craft restaurants and EMP), to freshen up the room and expand the lounge area. Le Bernardin turns 25 this year, but co-owner Maguy Le Coze says there won't be a big celebration, noting: "We are still in the process of leaving an impression." [EaterWire]
