Adam Platt files a twofer on new Upper East Side Czech joint Hospoda and Eataly's beer garden Birreria, awarding each one star. He says of the former, "The problem with the food at Hospoda, if any, is that there isn’t quite enough of it...servings are bite-size, and it doesn’t always feel like you’re enjoying an entire meal, no matter how many things you order." And of the latter, "Like many of the dining operations at Eataly, this one feels jerry-rigged and haphazard, until the meal arrives." [NYM]
