Mini golf has finally found a Manhattan home at the soon to open Greenwich Village Country Club, a new 16,000 square foot space that will be opened by the Bowlmor team above their original location on University Place. The enclosed rooftop space had previously been known as Carnival, but was severely damaged during the harsh winter of 2010. Now the Bowlmor team is promising to come back bigger than ever with the GVCC, which will feature 9 holes of mini golf, a bocce ball court, and shuffleboard as well as the Clubhouse nightclub, which will be the second most popular clubhouse in town after Andy Cohen's. David Burke is on board again as consulting chef. Why mini golf? Bowlmor CEO Tom Shannon puts it best, "who doesn't love mini golf?" That's why Tom Shannon is the CEO of Bowlmor and you are not!
