Today PizzArte a new two-story pizzeria and art gallery opens in Midtown, an area that has somehow missed out on the high-end pizza deluge of the past couple of years. The lower level holds a Neapolitan style pizza joint from pizzaiolo Pasquale Cozzolino, while the top floor, which also holds seating, will feature work from Italian artists, starting with 24 works from Naples native Lello Esposito. The pizzeria serves ten different pies and two calzones—all made with ingredients imported from Naples in an oven built by a Neapolitan oven master—alongside pastas, side dishes, rice balls, and (fun) fried pizza. Pies range from $12 for a simple marinara to a $23 for a pie topped with Gorgonzola and black truffles.

It's open from 11 AM - 11 PM.
