Help Three Gowanus Dudes Open a Seafood Shack

New, 16 comments

Three friends are looking to open "Brooklyn’s first and only classic New England-style beach side seafood shack" near the Gowanus Canal. The restaurant is called Littleneck and they're using "as many reused, recycled, reclaimed, and repurposed materials as possible," for the build out. Keeping with the times, the three dudes turned to Kickstarter to help raise money in anticipation of a September opening, and there are some awesome incentives for those willing to part with their cash. For example, if you pledge $5000 you get "A FREE ROUND OF BEERS AND A PLATTER FROM OUR RAW BAR EVERY TIME YOU SET FOOT IN THE DOOR...FOR LIFE!!!!" Best of all, they made an endearing and informative video to entice donors, which is below.
