Paris Commune Takes a Two-Month Summer Vacay

New, 15 comments

A tipster notes that Deathwatched 30-year-old West Village bistro Paris Commune closed over the long weekend, with a sign on the door explaining that they will be out of commission for July and August so that they can make some renovations. A lot of restaurants close for repairs during the summer, usually for a week at the end of August, but in some cases an extended vacation can turn into a final bow. Will that be the story for Paris Commune? Or will they just reopen with a new coat of paint and a spiffed up kitchen? Hard to say.
