BaoHaus 2 Opens Tonight with Bun Deal

238 E 14th Street, East Village
Status: Opening for Dinner Tonight
2011_baohaus2.jpgTwo weeks after announcing his expansion plans, Eddie Huang will open the second location of his bun shop BaoHaus tonight on 14th Street near Second Ave. This new outpost is bigger than the old one, with about 20 seats, a kitchen with a deep frier, a bathroom, and that crazy hand-painted mural running across one wall.

The menu is expanded too: expect most of the old buns, plus a few new ones, and a rotating selection of "Haus Specials" similar to the TV dinners that were served at the first BaoHaus last winter.

To celebrate the opening, Huang is also offering a special deal to guests tonight: $2 baos (not oyster or fishcake), fries, and fried chicken patties. Doors open at 7 PM tonight, do send any early reports our way.
