Take a look around Bearded Lady, a colorful, airy new watering hole in Prospect Heights. This is a joint project from Justin Olsen and Patrick Britton (formerly of Gowanus Yacht Club), and Mary Gibbons (a vet of Bar Great Harry). The goal here was to create a laid-back, unpretentious neighborhood cocktail parlor. To start out, there's a small list of specialty cocktails (all $9), and bottled beer, with plans for tap beer, small plates, and sandwiches sometime soon. Bearded Lady soft opens tonight at 8 PM. The cocktail list is below.
