Some exciting news for Upper East Side coffee snobs: popular Brooklyn coffee shop Oslo is opening a new location at 422 East 75th Street. Fork in the Road notices that they're expecting a "late summer" debut. A smart move, considering that the neighborhood doesn't have very many other hip, stylish, artisanal coffee shops.
This will be the first Manhattan location of the cafe, which has two outposts in Williamsburg. Oslo will also provide the beans for the new Big Gay Ice Cream Shop when it opens in the East Village later this summer.
