Behold Blue Bottle's First Manhattan Cafe

Last month, news broke that cult coffee roaster Blue Bottle was opening its first stand alone Manhattan location, following its Williamsburg debut in spring 2010. Now the first pieces of signage have gone up in the space. Blue Bottle founder James Freeman tells Eater the new location is on the concourse level of Rockefeller Center, between the 'wichcraft and the ladies restrooms in a former UPS store. The stairs on 5th Avenue lead right into the shop, a potential game changer for the caffeine freaks of Midtown.
