Toby's Public House, the Brooklyn bar and restaurant that faced a great deal of opposition (one might call it an assault) from locals in its plan to expand to Kenmare and Mulberry, wasn't scared off by NIMBY protests. The above neon signage just went up over the plywood shed that surrounds the corner space, formerly the home of The Village Tart. The restaurant, when open, should open with 55 seats and two kitchens.
