Pork Heists

2009_08_bevlockedup.jpgLast night, while Virginia pig farmer Bev Eggleston sat inside East Village restaurant Hearth, a thief snatched a raw pig leg out of his truck. Eggleston soon gave chase, serendipitously ran the thief into a van of New York's finest, and got his leg back. Eggleston doesn't have the best of luck here. Back in 2009 he was arrested after making an illegal turn. [Grapes and Grains]
