LONG ISLAND CITY — In two weeks, New York's first private food truck court will open at 43-29 Crescent Street, in Queens. These sort of lots are common in Austin, Portland, and parts of Los Angeles. The trucks that will be setting up shop here include: the Treats Truck, Coolhaus, the Milk Truck, Cupcake Stop, Eddie’s Pizza, Frites ‘N Meats, the Kimchi Taco Truck, and Rickshaw Dumpling truck. The owners of the lot are still working out the details on who will maintain the day-to-day operation of the space. [NYT]
