The Meatball Shop's New Williamsburg Location Opens Tonight

At 6 PM this evening the second location of mobbed Lower East Side restaurant The Meatball Shop will open on Bedford Ave. just steps from the L train stop in Williamsburg. This location will serve the exact same menu as the mothership—a list of meatball bowls, meatball subs, meatball sliders, sides, and ice cream sandwiches—and also features a full bar, a larger dining room, and an open kitchen with stool seating for a grand total of 70 seats.

The cocktail menu, a new idea for Meatball, is set up like the regular menu, in a sheet with boxes allowing customers to customize liquors and mix-ins.

Starting next week, they'll be open from noon to 2 AM on weekdays and 4 AM on weekends. Click through to see Brooklyn borough president Marty Markowitz giving his blessing this afternoon and to take a peek at the cocktail menu.
