Momofuku's Latest Large Format Meal: Whole Rotisserie Duck

New, 17 comments

Anyone who's read about or experienced the weekday lunch duck menu at Momofuku Ssam Bar won't be surprised to hear about the Momofuku Empire's latest large format meal. Now in addition to bo ssam, fried chicken, and beef 7 ways, socially-inclined diners can order a whole rotisserie duck for a group of six or less. The cost, which some Chowhounders have already scoffed at is $140 per party and includes a whole duck (cooked with duck sausage under the skin), chive pancakes, bibb lettuce, hoisin, duck scallion sauce, crispy shallots and a choice of two sides. To compare, the bo ssam is $200 per party, the chicken is $100 per party, and the beef bonanza is $450. Meanwhile the single serving duck bowl (a few pieces of duck served over rice with pancake or lettuce) is $13.

Want to try it? Currently there are plenty of openings at lunch and a free dinner spot on Sunday...but at 10 PM.
