TONY reports that after more than a decade on the Lower East Side, Sasha Petraske's Milk and Honey is moving somewhere "further uptown" later this year. The team isn't done with the space, though — they're turning it into a brand new bar called Attaboy.
Milk and Honey bartender Sam Ross says that Attaboy will feature classic cocktails and a new interior with windows and glass doors, and that it will look something like "a 1940s or 1950s private investigators office." The project is being backed by Petraske, but it sounds like this will primarily be a showcase for Ross, who has garnered a lot of acclaim lately, and fellow mixologist Michael McIlroy. Also: they're scrapping the reservations policy.
