The Lot on Tap Will Open Tomorrow Under the High Line

New, 1 comment

The second phase of the High Line opened one day early today in a surprise move from the Friends of the High Line. And tomorrow, the new High Line outdoor bar/food truck parking lot/Tommy C beer palace, situated at the northern end of the park on 30th Street and 10th Ave., will make its debut. It is called, aptly enough, given its past and future as a parking lot, The Lot on Tap.

The space has two bars—the main one is right under the High Line—and has seating for 350. On tap will be a rotating list of seasonal beers, including one made just for the High Line by the Brooklyn Brewery, and a list of domestic wines. Food will be available from Colicchio & Sons and food trucks including Red Hook Lobster Pound, Taim Mobile, Kelvin Natural Slush Co., Coolhaus, and the Taco Truck.

The Lot on Tap will be open throughout the summer, closing on September 30, from noon to 10 PM on weekdays, 11 PM on weekends.
