Popular Brooklyn deli and restaurant Mile End continues to grow. Since opening as a meat counter last year, they've leased out a warehouse, expanded into full fledged dinner service, considered going wholesale, and now they're opening a sandwich shop in Manhattan. Back in February owner Noah Bernamoff said that he was ready to expand into the city, hopefully in an area "that’s as busy at midnight as it is at noon," and now he tells Grub Street that he'll open Mile End Sandwich somewhere in NoHo this fall.
He says, "We’re going to work to perfect our sandwich offerings, even more so than on Hoyt Street." And unlike Hoyt Street, there will be no proper dinner service, just a lunch and sandwich menu.
