Grace Plaza, an ugly treeless expanse tucked behind the Grace Building at Sixth Avenue and West 43rd Street, is known more as a druggie and bum hangout than an inviting gathering place. But it has just emerged with a makeover, complete with greenery and seating. Soon enough, it will be home to a 140-seat outdoor cafe from the STK location that's opening up there. [Curbed NY]
