Consulting Chef Extraordinaire Ryan Skeen IN at Il Cibreo

New, 18 comments

Ryan Skeen has tried his hand at American, Belgian, Greek, Portuguese and kiddie pub grub, and now he'll take a crack at Italian as the new consulting chef at Il Cibreo on the Upper West Side. Flo Fab reports that Jeremy Wladis's restaurant Campo will close on Sunday night and reopen on Wednesday as a rustic trattoria, with a new name, a new concept, and Skeen at the helm.

Expect things like panini, flatbread pizzas, burgers, and bruschettas, reasonably priced to appeal to the Columbia set. As previously mentioned, the Skeen Machine will also be doing a series of pop-ups at Brad’s, another Wladis restaurant, with guest chefs including Nate Appleman, and former employer Michael Psilakis. Those are happening in July.
