Nonprofit group Art in General convinced seven restaurants in Chinatown to swap out art or decor—Buddha statues, light boxes of landscapes, etc.—for contemporary works by New York artists. Meanwhile, the restaurants' art is hung in the group's gallery on Walker Street. [WSJ]
