Dave Arnold Makes a Killer Patty Melt at Home

New, 22 comments

Welcome back to Sound Bites, an Eater original video feature in which footage of the city's most badass chefs crafting their signature dishes is paired with tunes from up-and-coming musicians. Regarding the volume: turn it up.

This week's Sound Bites installment is a Burger Week leftover, and a great one at that. Here, we asked the French Culinary Institute's resident gadget geek and its Director of Culinary Technology Dave Arnold to make two burgers. For Eater National he made the burger of the future. It's wacky, it's wild, it's weird. Here, we had him make the best home cooked burger ever. And thus, it was done. See Arnold's patty melt, made to the soundtrack of "Penny" by awesome Brooklyn Band Snowmine. And see his burger for Eater National here.
