2011_nickels1.jpgToday the WSJ takes a look at how NYC restaurants round bills up or down to avoid having to deal with change. Technically, rounding a bill up violates the city's consumer-protection law, and so a lot of places like 5 Napkin Burger round down to the nearest quarter. And then there's Hung Ry, which now apparently only rounds up after asking for customer approval. [WSJ]
