Queens Kickshaw now With Beer; The Franks Go to Belmont

MEATPACKING DISTRICT—Reps from The ONE Group send word that they're developing a spinoff of their popular STK steakhouses. Three outposts of this new concept are slated to open across the country in the next six months, with the first one landing on the roof of the STK in the Meatpacking District. There's still no word yet on what it will be called, or how the menu or design will be different from the original. [EaterWire]

BELMONT— The Franks of Frankies Spuntino and Prime Meats are back for a second year at the 2011 Belmont Stakes. They'll be serving meatballs, prime ribeye beef, fresh calamari and shrimp, and plenty of assorted Italian cheeses. [EaterWire]

CHELSEA—Dickson's Farmstand Meats, The Lobster Place, and the Chelsea Market are holding a Surf and Turf event next Tuesday, June 7. There will be all you can eat surf 'n' turf, Sam Adams brew, Buffalo Trace whisky cocktails, and desserts from L’Arte del Gelato. It takes place from 6 - 9 PM at the Chelsea Market. $60 a head.
