The Manhattan Diner, Elote, Moe's, and More Bite the Dust

1) Williamsburg: Zagat notices that cheap Mexican spot Elote has shuttered, and the phone number is disconnected. [Zagat]

2) East Village: EV Greive notes the closing of the Nathan's/Arthur Treacher's/Uno Pizzeria combo on the corner of 3rd. Ave and 14th. St. There's a marshal's note on the door, and there are no signs of life inside. [EVG]

3) Upper West Side: Edgar's on 84th and Broadway has closed, Zagat reports. This late night staple had been around for 20 years, but there is still another Edgar's on 91st and Amsterdam. [Zagat]

4) Fort Greene: The Local New York Times blog says goodbye to Moe's Bar and Lounge on Lafayette Avenue. They had been around for 10 years, but unpaid gas bills and imminent rent hikes led to their demise. [NYT]
