2) East Village: Grub Street reports that three and a half month-old spot Nicky's Pho, a spinoff of Nicky's Vietnamese Sandwiches, has closed on East 4th St. [GS]

3) Cobble Hill: Pardon Me for Asking notes Faan, a 10 year-old Asian-fusion spot at 209 Smith Street is donski. [PMfA]

4) East Village: Grub Street notices that Lingua, a three month-old restaurant in the East Village on 1st Ave. near 7th St., is sadly shuttered. They offered an offal-centric menu. [GS]
