As it did last year and the year prior, traveling French movement/food fest Omnivore will pair major European chefs with New York's homegrown talent for a special week of classes and dinners. Purporting to represent "Young Cuisine" the world over, Omnivore this year is hooking up with chef John Fraser's temporary restaurant installation What Happens When for the series of Three Fucking Dinners. Taking place from June 9 - 11, the dinners will involve, in this order, Michael Anthony (Gramercy Tavern) and Mads Refslund (MR, Copenhagen), Carlo Mirarchi (Roberta's) and Giovanni Passerini (Rino, Paris), and John Fraser (WHW, Dovetail) and Jean-François Piege (Thoumieux, Paris). They'll each go for $125 a head plus optional wine pairings.
The fest will also offer Master Classes taught by chefs "for food writers and culinary protagonists of New York." Get resys for the dinner by calling What Happens When, 212-925-8310.
