Where: 27 N. 6th St, Williamsburg
When: Saturday, 9 AM - 5 PM
What: The first date of the Brooklyn Flea's all-food counterpart, featuring over 100 vendors including Blue Bottle Coffee, The Meat Hook, Tenpenny, Mile End, Porchetta, and Txikito's Alex Raij. There will also be a greenmarket with about 20 vendors, and some packaged foods and baked goods for sale.
2) Taste of Tribeca
Where: Duane Park
When: Saturday, 11:30 AM - 3:00 PM
What: The 17th annual street fest that directly underwrites the arts and enrichment programs at PS 150 and PS 234. Many fine neighborhood restaurants will be serving food including The Harrison, Blaue Gans, Locanda Verde, Bouley and Terroir. Tickets are $40 online, $45 at the door.
3) Ardesia's Summer Party
Where: 510 West 52nd Street
When: Saturday, 4 PM - 6 PM
What: Mandy Oser's stylish Hell's Kitchen wine bar is throwing a start of summer party on their patio, with open pours of Wolffer Estates Rosé and hors d'oeuvres. Tickets are $30 and space is limited so e-mail email@example.com for a reservation, or call (212) 247-9191.
4) New Taste of the UWS
Where: Compass (208 West 70th St.)
When: Saturday, 1 PM
What: The second day of the annual food fest benefitting the Columbus Avenue Business Improvement District. Tonight's big "Best of the West" bash is totally sold out, but tickets are still available for "Long Island Takes Over the World," a roundtable discussion about Long Island wines with a panel of experts, which includes tastings with cheese pairings. Tickets are $45 (purchase them on the official site).
5) Top Chef: The Tour
Where: Gansevoort Plaza (9th Ave & Little W 12th St)
When: Saturday and Sunday, 10:30 AM - 2:30 PM
What: Nikki Cascone of Octavia's Porch and Angelo Sosa of Social Eatz will compete against each other in a cooking demo, and meet and greet with the fans. Free.
