New Restaurant Farm in Bayside; Free Cupcakes and Popbars

WEST VILLAGE— To celebrate its first anniversary Popbar, the gelato on a stick shop, is offering every customer a free Coffee popGelato with the purchase of any regular popBar on Wednesday, May 4th from 12pm-10pm.

BAYSIDE—Urban farm alert! Valentino's on the Green, the grand restaurant that opened in Bayside, Queens last fall, will soon launch The Shared Table Farm on the grounds of the restaurant. It will combine outdoor raised bed and container plantings with indoor, soilless, aquaponic, hydroponic and aeroponic systems and will act as an educational, and research center with the goal of teaching and advancing new approaches to urban food production.
