Joe's Superette Closing After 50 Years; Zagat's 30 Under 30

CARROLL GARDENS—Carroll Gardens standby, the 50 year-old Joe's Superette is closing because the owner Leo Coladonato is experiencing health problems. It's a huge blow to the neighborhood and those who loved the deli's prosciutto balls. [Pardon Me for Asking]

PARTIES—Midtown Lunch is throwing a 5th anniversary party at City Winery on June 11. They'll have food from four Vendy Award winners, Ma Peche, and more, and they'll be giving away fun food related gift certificates.
