When the Meat Left MePa

New, 1 comment

2011_05_debraggamove.jpgMeat purveyors DeBragga & Spitler are the latest of their kind to leave Manhattan. They start construction on a new $2.5 million facility in New Jersey soon and plan on vacating the Meatpacking District this fall. 25 percent of their current space will be ceded to the new Whitney Museum project, while the rest will go to the Gansevoort Market, a meat market cooperative that will have seven remaining members.
