Dos Toros Expanding to Third Location on Upper East Side

Last week, we learned that runaway hit taqueria Dos Toros was expanding to a second location in the West Village. The move certainly makes sense, as the tiny Union Square storefront attracts huge lines throughout the day, and the west side could always use more good inexpensive Mexican food. Now Crain's reports that brothers Leo and Oliver Kremer are already working on a third location on the Upper East Side.

The uptown shop should open sometime later this year, although there's still no word yet on the exact location. The West Village outpost is slated to make its debut on May 24, and The Feed reports that it will have "reclaimed-wood walls and a pressed-tin ceiling," plus outdoor seating.

For more with the Kremer brothers, check out their Eater Dream Journal from this past weekend.
