1) Williamsburg: A slew of new Williamsburg spots: A new fish shack called Rosarita is opening in the old Williamburg Cafe, Burger Guru, and Forcella pizzeria is opening up on Lorimer between Grand and Powers. Also there's a new spot from the people behind Cafe Mogador opening up at 133 Wythe. [PLYWOOD]
2) West Village: The photo is not telling at all, but for what it's worth, above find a photo of the new West Village Frankies restaurants. [PLYWOOD]
3) Hell's Kitchen: Life with Food and Drink notices that a new Latin eatery calling themselves Out Latin Food is coming soon to the old Bai Cha space on 710 9th Avenue. Signage is up for now. [PLYWOOD]
4) Park Slope: A Here's Park Slope reader notes the recent wave of food openings on 7th and 5th Avenues lately: South Brooklyn Pizza, Bare Burger, Sky Ice, Culture, new Columbian and Peruvian spots, a new cocktail bar coming to 5th Avenue and Berkeley Street, where Long Tan was and a new bar taking the space of what was Total Wine Bar. Of course there's also the new Dumplings and Things at 375 Fifth Avenue, which was the focus of the Here's Park Slop piece. [POST-PLYWOOD]
5) Greenwich Village: DNA Info reports on MoMo Caffe, a new panini and coffee shop featuring authentic Italian fare. MoMo is taking over the old Shoe Garden space at 150 West 10th Street. Like La Cremeria, MoMo Caffe also plans to feature strictly Italian-imported ingredients. During the day, the corner eatery will offer coffee and pastries and in the afternoon, they'll segway to paninis and "cold plates" like prosciutto crudo and salami. Ernesto Barricelli, the owner, hopes to open later this month. [PLYWOOD]
6) Downtown Brooklyn: Brownstoner speculates that the new Five Guys coming to 2 MetroTech is close to opening, as they received a picture showing considerable progress on the inside. [PLYWOOD]
7) East Village: EV Grieve notes a new "Italian-Mexican Infusion" spot, Avenue A Bistro Cafe that has taken over what used to be Avenue A Bistro Bar (which took over what used to be Avenue A Sushi). No news on when the new Avenue A Bistro Cafe will open, but signage is up. [PLYWOOD]
8) Williamsburg: Per Facebook, Limonata Cafe is coming to 189 Bedford Avenue at the old Doner Kebab space. According to FB, their food styles are "American (Traditional), Breakfast, French, Italian and Turkish." Intriguing. [PLYWOOD]
9) Lower East Side: Melt Bakery is coming to 132 Orchard Street, Bowery Boogie reports. This will be their first brick-and-mortar outpost, but they're already facing some stiff frozen competition with il Laboratrio del Gelato and Red Mango right there. Bowery Boogie learns they will be opening next month. [PLYWOOD]
10) West Village: Grub Street shares some details on the new 900 Degrees coming to 29 Seventh Avenue South next week. They will ambitiously offer Neopolitan, Roman, and New York style pizzas (rather than just focusing on one type), but will only serve 73 Neopolitan pies a night, due to some numerology suspicion about the day they won the title for Best Neapolitan Pizza at the World Pizza Cup in Naples.
