Police recently arrested a waiter at Todd English's Union Square restaurant Olives for stealing over $91,000 in fake tips from the restaurant over the course of two years, the Post reports. The tips were not stolen from patrons, rather he allegedly added extra tip money to his check tallies in the restaurant's computer system, leading to inflated paychecks. Somehow his antics went unnoticed since he started in 2009.
In other Todd English news, Boston magazine called the chef a "tourist-feeding hack," and when two friends and a publicist wrote a letter to defend him, they apparently had a hard time getting others to sign.
