The Copacabana is making a New York comeback with a new 25,000 square foot restaurant and dance club. The Copa, which has been without a home since 2007, has taken over the former China Club space near Times Square, and has done a gut renovation of the building, including a retractable roof system that can be opened on warm nights. The project will also include a restaurant by Calle Ocho chef Alex Garcia. The Copa reopens July 4th weekend. [NYP]
