Close followers of the restaurant world probably know that Jeffrey Chodorow, a.k.a. El Chod, the owner of the Asia de Cuba and China Grill empires and mastermind behind departed but forever remembered restaurants Kobe Club, Wild Salmon, and English is Italian, is a wealthy man. (We've heard he even has a bowling lane in his Hamptons house.) But exactly how well off is the guy? Curbed reports today that he just put up his apartment—well, technically it's three combined apartments—in the Trump Tower on 5th Ave. for $16.4 million, the priciest listing in the building. It includes 10 rooms, views of Central Park, a chef's kitchen, a laundry room, and all the other luxuries one would expect for the owner of Tanuki Tavern. No word yet on where he's settling.
