Five Guys Fries: Made from freshly cut potatoes, fried in peanut oil, served in a Styrofoam cup. Every FIve Guys location features a sign saying where their potatoes came from that day.

Poutine: Poutine, a signature Canadian dish, consists of French fries covered in cheese curds, gravy, and various other toppings, like the meat above.

Photo via - Weird Fries: These are fries that are not made from any kind of potato. Like these puppies above from Coppelia and Yerba Buena, which are made from avocados, watermelon, and yuca. Zucchini is also another typical substitute.

Sweet Potato fries: these are fries (or in the above case, potato wedges) made from sweet potatoes instead of regular potatoes. They are orange! And sweetish!

Waffle Fries: These fires look like mini waffles and are doughy, often delicious, and fun to eat.

Disco Fries: somewhat related to cheese fries and poutine, disco fries are smothered with cheese and gravy. It's a cousin to the always popular chili fries.

Pommes Souffles: Puffy French fries made by cooking potatoes that have been soaked in water and fried twice, at two different temperatures.

Air Baked Fries: a healthy option, basically cut fries cooked in an oven, with little or no oil.
