Seamus Mullen Will Return to the Stoves with Tertulia

Back in October, news broke that Seamus Mullen, the talented chef that left his two Boqueria restaurants last year for personal reasons, was eying a space on 6th Avenue near Washington Place. In November Community Board 2 gave him approval for his Spanish influenced restaurant, and today Nick Fox reports that it will be called Tertulia. The restaurant will be open throughout the day (with free wifi no less) and will serve traditional and simple Spanish food. He tells Fox, "There will be a lot of seafood, a lot of simple preparations..There’s going to be a wood-fired grill and cider on tap, which I think is unusual."

The restaurant is set to open this summer.
