Mystique Ready To Mystify The Lower East Side

New, 9 comments

It's not often that a new project takes your breath away, but Mystique, a new restaurant, club and karaoke lounge coming to a former warehouse on lower Chrystie Street has done just that. So what makes Mystique so amazing? Just a few minutes perusing their nifty website gets the juices flowing. The site shows a multi-story space heavy on modern furniture, a dizzying light show, and just the right amount of banquettes to make bottle service buyers swoon. Mystique also promises to offer "a wide selection of Asian fusion delicacies with the best service in town", as well as the finest in Asian, American, Italian, Brazilian, Spanish and Middle Eastern food. And karaoke. And flaming shots. Mystique has applied for a liquor license with the SLA and was planning on opening in April, but neither of those goals has been met.
