So, I found myself in central NJ the other day, shopping at a Wegman's supermarket. What did I find in the produce aisle? Ramps, $12.95 a pound. Check-out person did not know what they were, nor could he find a UPC code for it. Called over a supervisor, who also was puzzled how to ring it up. Finally, had to override the entire store's computer system to enter it manually. A handful cost me 91 cents. Took nearly 20 minutes before they could be rung up. But, sauteed for five minutes with sliced shallots, they were delicious.2) Ariel Brogg responds to the news that the Mark Iacono fight may have been over a woman who works at a stationery store:
