Andrew Carmellini's new Soho restaurant The Dutch is mere days away from its public debut. And today reps release the new menus, including their dinner, late night, and cocktail offerings. What are we in for here? We're talking a raw bar with oysters, seafood ceviche, crab claws and peel 'n' eat prawns, apps like smoked lamb links or "barrio" tripe, and mains including braised grouper, lamb neck mole, smoked and roasted chicken paprikash, and dry aged beef rib chops for two. The late night offerings are similar but include a late night only cheddar burger, a smoked turkey sandwich, and a couple of fun breakfasty dishes. (Everything but the premium beef dishes clock in at under $30.) To wrap it all up, some classic and not so classic cocktails and a slew of desserts—rice pudding, flan, devil's food cake, fro-yo sundae. More friends and family meals take place tonight and over the weekend before the public opening, which reps tell us will happen sometime after Tuesday of next week.
Download the menus here—Dinner, Late night, Dessert —or look below. And click through to TONY for a peek inside and to NYMag for a slideshow of the dishes.
